MISSION STATEMENT
We, the Extended Reality Ensemble (XRE), are currently a non-incorporated ensemble composed of individual members who have come together originally during the multiple pandemics of 2020, most notably Racial Injustice and COVID-19, to create art in a variety of mediums and genres based on the interplay between artistry, philosophy and technology in all forms.
We are passionate about creating with responsibility in as-much-as-possible non-hierarchical structure and practicing true cross-collaborations with extended media with local and long distant members. We ask “how can we truly create across mediums, across cultures, across continents, without all being in the same room?”
We aim to create pioneering works of excellence, emotionally transporting and sometimes challenging our audiences, as our audiences teach us about how our work speaks to them.
