We were excited to partner with the Ars Electronica Festival as official curators of the

inaugural Ars Electronica Festival Garden NYC 2021.

The theme of our Garden was A Portal

– and we invited the audience to explore a world of immersive art, new technology and interactive performances.

Can we be intimate with technology? Can virtual and analogue artists co-exist? We reflected on the technological promises made to us and tried to rethink the foundations of the digital world, to reconcile it with our current reality and to explore it as it intersects with culture and society.

Our key goal was to empower the community of NYC new media artists, creators, coders, performers, visionaries, and community activists who are directly connected to multicultural and international communities.

And the team was strong! Vizmesh and Never Knows Better were our co-curators for the

NFT installation and the NKB x Ars Electronica Festival.
