Using piezo microphones attached to wood bark wound with guitar strings and porcelain bowls 

carefully tuned with water measurements, Maria plays and conducts the sound-objects with a

Insomniac Hotel is the music of surfaces. The swirls of synthetic-organic tone-spaces and refracted 

microphony evoke fractal geometries; each detail a world in itself.  Working alone, Alec Fellman 

extrudes this geography from a pool of sound-objects: modular synthesizers, meditation bowls, contact

Jay Tobin is a Brooklyn-based artist currently pursuing an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design. His work deals with the connecting flesh between digital and organic, using both audio and visuals to draw connections between distinct worlds. With a background in musical technology, his work is often music-first in approach, with generative algorithms at the heart of everything he makes.

Testu Collective is an NYC-based art group founded by Dan Tesene and Serena Stucke in 2017. They create performances to shift the audience’s perspectives by applying concepts from expanded cinema and intermedia. Their work reimagines visual systems and sonic environments through a combination of custom-made videos, experimental sound worlds, architectural elements, and sculptural movement.

Michael Romeo has been working in New York as a musician, digital artist, and programmer. His live audio / visual performances under the moniker "Night Shining" are a multimedia production consisting of custom written software. His practice focuses on the relationship between algorithmically created digital forms, generative sound, and a variation of technologies to realize his pieces like computer vision, machine learning techniques, and data conversion within a multitude of formats.

The Glad Scientist (Daniel Sabio) is a Puerto Rican conceptual new media artist. Their work primarily focuses on performance & installation arts & is driven by a research-based approach balanced with an understanding of emotional & transformational responses to an art experience. The results range from VR audiovisual performances & multichannel sound installations to brain/heart controlled artworks & video game experiences, with the specific medium being a reflection of the concept of the work.

Erin Wajufos is a multimedia artist and performer with a distinct focus on new media art and avant-garde cinema, ideally creating content that flows from information to emotion. Her work shares a similar theme of deconstruction, typically by appropriating stock images and twisting their functionality, creating narratives that feel harsh as a means to simply raise awareness about topics such as the climate crisis and social justice issues.

At a time in modern history where pain and heartbreak are all too familiar, Johnny Shankman opens up a dialogue surrounding the unwelcome symptoms that often accompany the human experience. He embellishes his minimalist sound with poetry, lyrical prose, and mind bending visuals.

Super_dpressd is the lo-fi footwork project of New Jersey native David Pressler. His work draws influence from both producers and composers (RP Boo, DJ Rashad, Steve Reisch, Midori Takada,) the Jersey Club sound of his home state, and his own experience in punk bands and hip-hop. Super_dpressd is an exercise in combining propulsive rhythms and recontextualized samples to arrive at a uniquely infectious, no-frills approach to dance music.

Grant Bouvier is an electronic artist and composer from Philadelphia who's sound work focuses on dead media formats, weird circuits, and uncertainty. Through the use of entropic sonic objects and oscillations he seeks to puncture the computational artifice of the post digital world to reveal the bizarre and eerie states that exist beneath its glossy surface.
